Client is a leading global investment management firm that is client centric in its mission, offering high-quality research and diversified investment services to institutional clients, retail distributors and individual investors in major markets all around the world.

  • Champion the People team’s operational and administrative requirements.
  • Administer new hire processes including audit of offer letters, tracking and processing of special compensation, and coordination with payroll and financial compensation.
  • Administer new hire benefit enrollment for new joiners across India.
  • Ensure the accurate maintenance of employee files and records within Workday and shared drives.
  • Liaise with immigration vendors to work on the application, transfer of sponsorship, termination, and extension of different types of visas, assisting with monthly immigration checks.
  • Ensure right to work checks are completed for all new hires across India.
  • In partnership with the People Business Partners, coordinate all outgoing and incoming international relocations for India, including working with vendors to obtain quotes, seeking business approval, coordinating visas and processing in Workday.
  • Maintain relocation-related mobility programs, including management of mobility policy and external partners.
  • Own all invoicing and vendor management processes, including contracts and scope of service.
  • Excel in benefits administration including supporting the Benefits Manager with the annual renewal cycle. Job Title: People Business Specialist Location: Pune, India Department: People Team Job Type: Full-time, permanent Area of Interest: Reporting to: People Business Partner

PEOPLE BUSINESS SPECIALIST

  • Ensure the People Intranet is accurately updated with policies, the employee handbook and benefit summary documents.
  • Assist the People team in responding to enquiries regarding People policy and processes.
  • Manage Time Off plans for all India , ensuing entitlements and records are correct in Workday. Manage the annual public holiday calendar for India.
  • Partner with the People team on recruitment efforts, assisting with job advertisement posting and interview schedule coordination (where needed).
  • Onboard consultants and ensure the necessary documents are completed and filed.
  • Ensure the maintenance of the Preferred Service List for recruitment agencies, renewing and renegotiating terms are required.
  • Provide support on India diversity and inclusion initiatives, in collaboration with external partners.
  • Store confidential employee documentation including separation agreements, employment and compensation letters. Liaise with People Business Partners, Legal, and Finance as needed.
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for the People Team and the business across India.
  • Own Workday processes and ensure accurate records are maintained. Partner with the People Digital team on projects to enhance and streamline processes for employees and the People team.

This position requires:

  • Qualification in human resources/Equivalent qualification from an accredited business school * Experience in HR operations, employee lifecycle management and benefit administration * Attention to detail, accuracy and proven organizational skills are critical to success in this role * Ability to work collaboratively and cultivate strong partnerships with internal clients / colleagues * Experience with HRIS systems (Workday preferred) * Self-starter, can work both independently and be highly collaborative
