We are in search of a human resources expert to join us as Head of People Shared Services.
In this new role, you’ll be supporting our Director of People Experience in the development and implementation of a quality People Directorate Shared Service, delivering professional HR and Payroll services across the organisation.
As Head of Shared Services, you will be collaborating with the People Leadership Team to inform the design and delivery of HR processes, leading the way from a manual to automated first-line support service.
You will be supporting and leading the Shared Services team, re-designing the current People Administration functions and developing the team to improve SLAs and ensure matters are dealt with appropriately, efficiently and accessibly. You will also be involved in day-to-day oversight of HR queries, and Employee Relations cases managed by the People Advisor team.
As well as identifying improvements and creating solutions and new standardised processes, you will also be reporting on monthly KPIs, monitoring performance and delivering action plans based on customer satisfaction survey results.
To be successful as the Head of People Shared Services, you will have significant experience of working in a similar function and management experience in office administration, payroll and human resources.
You will have strong communication skills, not only to influence, report and converse confidently with senior levels but also to develop and support team performance. You will be capable of developing strategies and solutions, empowering your team to work efficiently and adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
A Level 7 CIPD or similar HR qualification is desirable, but not essential.
