As the Senior Manager of HR Shared Services you will help build and lead our India based Human Resources Shared Services team that will support Toast employees around the globe. You will play a pivotal role in innovating and updating our delivery model, focused on providing exceptional service to our employees at scale. To be successful in this role, you must have a customer-centric mindset, a proven ability to leverage technology & processes to elevate the employee experience and experience building and managing a shared services team.
- Build an efficient and effective People Services (Shared Services) team from the ground up in India to deliver best in class service to our Toasters
- Lead, coach, manage and develop a team of managers, candidate experience and people operations specialists, data analysts, and integration developers, ensuring high-quality service delivery in areas such as recruiting coordination, operations, systems enhancement and dashboard development.
- Monitor metrics and SLAs to measure success of the team and provide insights for decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvements focused on automation, standardization and scalability.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the People Team, Legal, Finance, and Business teams to influence change as we mature and grow.
- Partner with leadership to prioritize and then deliver a variety of small to large, complex, integrated People team initiatives, simultaneously.
- Navigate the timezone dependencies
- Masters in Business in Business Administration specialised in Human Resources
- At least 12 years of experience in managing Shared Services/KPOs with past experience of setting up shared services from scratch
- 6 years of proven people management and leadership experience in a global organisation.
- Experience operating in a matrixed structure.
- Have played a key role in developing and scaling People Team functions
- Expertise in Global HR Transformation, strategy, design and transition of People Operations to create value for the organization
- Manage compliance from labour regulations and best practices to ensure Toast remains compliant.
- Familiarity with Sox and have managed programs and processes that are Sox compliant
- Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms (Workday, Greenhouse) and analytics tools
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills with a strong attention to detail.
