The role will be part of the Global Transaction Services Technology (GTST) APAC team. GTST is a technology service delivery organization supporting the Global Banking and Markets business in Asia Pacific for Bank of America.
- Act as a Technical Project Manager for Software development and/or hardware provisioning:
- Ensure complete understanding of the Development Estimate and project scope
- Participate as required in project steering committee and governance meeting.
- Create and execute development plans. Revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Liaise between Technology staff and Change Managers and act as the main contact for technical project delivery
- Manage the Technology risks throughout the project.
- Facilitate and chair regular status meetings with the technology teams
- Deliver engaging, informative, well-organized presentations around the project
- Work both within technology and business teams to improve process and quality of delivery.
- Keep track of lessons learned and share both with team members and across the department.
- Use to help build departmental Best Practice.
- Comply with and actively support standard policies, processes and procedures.
Education/Certification:
- B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA
- Certifications (if any):
Experience : 8-12 years
Foundational Skills
- 8+ years of experience in banking industry with proficiency in analysis, design, development, testing and deploying of Web based, Client/Server and Distributed applications on multiple platforms
- Consult with TI, App Teams and Vendors to determine optimal configuration of applications.
- Good written, verbal and listening skills, analytical skills, ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in an atmosphere of multiple projects and shifting priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process which incorporates Requirement Gathering, Analysis, Design, Developing, Testing and implementing life cycle utilizing approaches like Agile, SCRUM and Test – Driven Development.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (for example, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Demos/ Reviews and Sprint Retrospectives).
