Tremendous opportunity to build project management processes and lead projects at a company on an explosive growth path with modern, cloud-based IT applications. As a Senior Director of PMO, you will help establish how projects are planned, run and reported on across the enterprise and manage large scale mission critical projects. You will have responsibility for application business analysis as a shared service. You will have responsibility for IT finance, including budgeting and actuals to budget management.

You will work closely with IT and business leadership in establishing project management practices and managing critical projects to provide the appropriate structure and visibility to our IT projects and portfolio at Trulieve.

Job Title: Senior Director of PMO

Department: IT

Location: Tallahassee or Remote (preferably Eastern time zone)

Reports to: James Espey

  • Manage IT projects, including scoping, plan creation, estimating, status reporting and risk management
  • Manage team of project managers, creating collaborative, productive team
  • Lead the establishment of project management principles and standards for IT, including template creation for project charter, project plans, budget and status reporting
  • Assist with establishing PMO standards and processes, including portfolio reporting, resource balancing and prioritization processes
  • Lead Sprint planning, tracking and Sprint retrospectives
  • Create, manage and report on IT project roadmap
  • Plan, lead and coordinate cross-functional team activities to manage and implement projects from initiation to final operational stage, including contingency planning
  • Manage communications of key project milestones, risks and releases with internal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with company policies for governmental and local laws and regulations
  • Deliver projects with awareness of IT compliance requirements for Sarbanes-Oxley
  • Work with change management and training resources to ensure employees impacted by projects are ready and will adopt changes introduced
  • Build relationships and liaise with key stakeholders to develop partnership and synergies between IT and business functions
  • Develop thorough understanding of the Trulieve business to apply business knowledge/strategy to our prioritization and project approach
  • Assist with building team as business grows and lead team to a world class PMO organization
  • Assist with vendor management, including vendor selection, SOW creation and budget tracking
  • Lead IT finance budgeting and tracking
  • Establish applications business analysis competency and provide shared service to application teams
  • Define standards, templates, methodology for business analysis
  • Limited domestic travel possible
  • Reports to the Executive Director of Enterprise Applications

Skills an qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience with a proven track record of IT project management
  • Ability and desire to thrive in a high-pressure environment
  • Extensive experience creating project management and PMO artifacts such as Project Plans, Project Budgets, Executive Briefs, Portfolio Roadmaps and other related documentation
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills from both an IT and business perspective
  • Rock solid organizational skills
  • Self-motivated, continuous improvement mindset and can work with minimal direction
  • Experience in an Agile Scrum environment
  • Proactive personality who will drive results with strong customer service focus
  • Proven leader with ability to adapt in dynamic environment
  • Experience with SAP and Magento preferred

Additional Minimum Qualifications

  •  Must be able to pass a level 2 background check

This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.
