GPO – Record to Report is an experienced and strategic-minded role responsible for leading and optimizing the end-to-end RTR process globally, ensuring global standardization and alignment with organizational goals, compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
In this role, the GPO – Record to Report will provide process leadership that strategizes the shared services as a product with an ongoing roadmap and prioritizes transformation, innovation, attracting top talent, best practices, and low-cost solutions.
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions and the team of accountants and G/L leads.
- Support financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, and providing ongoing training.
- Ensuring standardization and compliance with GAAP, SOPs, and local accounting requirements.
- Develop a continuous improvement process in partnership with respective teams within Finance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for RTR processes globally.
- Set strategic direction for identifying and executing on process improvement opportunities.
- Owns performance, process design and technology enablement to create incremental value.
- Ensure optimal use and adaptation of ERP and enabling technologies, in partnership with FinSys.
- Define and own the SLA and KPI to measure E2E process performance, efficiency and quality.
- Provide regular proposals for process improvement initiatives.
- Provide service levels that the business needs and stay close to the internal customer.
- Drive process design and process standardization and optimization initiatives.
- Support escalated operational incidents.
- Provide single point of accountability for defining, maintaining and educating on process standards.
- Provide inputs to process controls and mechanisms to monitor and ensure compliance.
- Ensure processes are following all internal and external policies, SOP and regulations.
- Communicate at all levels of the organization and demonstrate involvement in business process

Qualifications and Skill Capabilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (USGAAP), standards, and regulatory requirements
- In-depth knowledge of RTR processes
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP specifically) and RTR automation tools
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization
- Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
- Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with other financial systems.
