The Senior Director of Finance is responsible for optimizing the company’s financial performance through effective treasury management and working capital optimization.
As a member of the finance team, the Senior Director of Finance will contribute to the efficient management of the company’s financial operations by ensuring all necessary internal controls are in place and identifying opportunities to eliminate non value-added work and leveraging technology to improve efficiency.
- Translates the strategic and tactical business plans and establishes and implements short- and long-term organizational treasury management/working capital goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and operating procedures; monitors and evaluates operational effectiveness of programs, and effects changes required for improvement.
- Direct activities of accounts receivable by establishing key performance indicators to measure and assess performance; identifying areas to improve the speed of our collections and cash flow; and ensuring efficient and accurate cash application. Work closely with sales teams to address credit and collection issues and minimize risk of bad debts.
- Direct the activities of accounts payable by maintaining the procurement-to-pay policy and procedures for the enterprise; ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, including coding and approval workflows; and leveraging electronic payments to significantly reduce payments issued by check. Evaluate payment schedules to optimize cash flow while maximizing vendor discounts.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the route settlement process including the existence and execution of all necessary internal controls.
- Implement a dedicated data maintenance team that supports pricing and outlet data consistently across the enterprise and identifies the responsibilities of the data maintenance team with alignment with key stakeholders.
- Directs and oversees the management of the treasury management function ensuring that all activities and services are effective, cohesive, consistent with the needs and objectives of the business.
- Prepare regular reports and analyses on treasury activities, cash flow reporting and forecasts, and working capital performance. Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial analysis and industry best practices.
- Support internal and external audit requirements related to treasury operations and working capital management.
- Evaluates departmental policies and procedures and work with key stakeholders to streamline and/or automate processes, improve customer support and/or improve treasury and date management; plans and implements changes as required.
- Develops and manages annual budgets for the treasury management organization and performs monthly cost and productivity analyses.
- Ensure that all treasury management activities are performed in a consistent manner across the enterprise.
- Supports COO/CFO in coordinating and managing certain projects to ensure they are progressing in relation to pre-defined commitments and are achieving the desired results.
- Creates treasury performance standards. Evaluates and develops reporting to ensure tracking of the right KPIs to drive improvements in all areas of the business.

- Deep understanding of cash management, accounts payable/receivable, and working capital management.
- Technical skills in general accounting, month-end closing analysis, account reconciliation, financial reporting/statements, and cost analysis.
- Strong change management and process improvement orientation and extensive experience in process control.
- People management skills with experience leading large teams of individuals that are focused on transaction processing.
- Must have strong business knowledge and experience with the ability to translate business needs to a strategic plan
- Strong analytical skills with a methodological approach to problem solving and implementation.
- Excellent follow-up and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
EDUCATION
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience leading financial shared services or working capital function in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment required.
- Beverage industry experience a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
- MS Dynamics experience is a plus. ERP experience is required.
