Kforce’s client in the Milwaukee, WI area is seeking a Shared Services Accounting Manager. Summary: We are looking for a hands-on leader that has high energy, and can work in a fast-paced, results oriented environment. The Accounting Manager will be accountable for leading the Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions of the Company.
- Reviewing customer contracts
- Customer billing
- Revenue recognition
- Collections
- Cash application
- Managing the AR aging
- Entering vendor bills
- Paying vendors and subcontractors
- 1099 reporting
- Managing the company’s credit card program
- Supporting the accounting close process
- Recruiting
- Development and coaching of team members
- Performing other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA preferred
- 7-10 years of experience
- People management experience
- Extensive experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions
- NetSuite experience would be a plus
- Working Conditions: Mainly in office; Can offer some flexibility-manager’s discretion
