In this role, you will provide guidance, support and resolution for complex employee relations activities involving employees and managers in the Americas.
- Lead a team of engaged HR professionals encouraging growth, development and psychological safety.
- Champion compassionately and effectively addressing employee relations and investigation concerns in accordance with internal policies and local/regional legislation.
- Be a thought partner for all levels of management and key internal partners such as Employee Experience Business Partners, Employment Counsel, and Centers of Excellence (COEs).
- Enhance the employee journey and deliver an exceptional experience by simplifying processes through technology and self-service initiatives where possible.
- Provide guidance to our experienced Employee Relations team while embodying our values in every decision and demonstrating a solid understanding of company policy and culture.
- Clearly communicate strategy and direction as well as opportunities for development and improvement.
- Propose solutions and support in resolving complex and unique employment related issues.
- Offer thoughtful insights to shape future organizational strategies.
- 8+ years in employee relations and employment investigations with shared service experience as a plus.
- Prior experience leading concurrent, high-priority employee relations activities, emphasizing empathy, consistency, operational excellence, and employee experience, with experience leading a team preferred.
- Ability to establish strong professional relationships with team members, peers, business leaders, executives and cross-functional partners.
- Effective communication and influencing, including strong writing skills and documentation abilities.
- Anticipate potential issues and diagnose root cause through active listening and thoughtful inquiry.
- Demonstrate success with driving process enhancements
- Bachelor’s degree required; JD or MBA preferred.
