Reporting directly to the Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Group Head of Finance will be responsible for the design and delivery of strategic and operational outcomes of the Group Shared Services function. You will be a transformational leader with a commercial focus in transaction service requirements and a demonstrated track record in growth, change and a dynamic leadership style that positively influences and inspires both internal and external stakeholders.
- Execute the Group Shared Services Finance strategy including compliance, process, technology and people focused outcomes
- Design and execute the centralised Group Shared Services workforce strategy, transforming existing operations and implementing new processes and procedures while ensuring innovation through continuous improvement strategies and frameworks
- Champion the adoption of best practice methodologies, with a focus on organisational growth and transition for customer-centric service management and delivery
- Build, coordinate and lead capability amongst key stakeholders and drive high engagement, collaboration, agility and accountability across direct and indirect reports and the wider organisation
- Lead the governance and risk management of accounts payable, vendor compliance, business acquisitions for the Finance service delivery operations and Financial accounting teams while ensuring high-level governance standards are met
- Support and lead a team of senior direct reports and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Significant experience managing large teams in a similar, fast-paced and complex organisation
- Senior leadership experience (reporting to C-Level/Executives) in Shared Service/Transactional service delivery within Finance or similar (10 years post qualifications experience)
- Qualified as either a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or a Chartered Accountant (CA) – desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders across all levels of the organisation
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience in transformation and business acquisitions, preferably within the Healthcare, Hotels or similar 24hour operations/complexity sector
- National Criminal History Check (within the last 6 months)
