The Senior Manager, Finance Shared Services, will lead and manage the Finance Shared Services team, ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely financial operations. This role is pivotal in driving continuous improvement in processes and systems, maintaining compliance, and delivering high-quality service to internal stakeholders.

Leadership and Management:

  • Lead and manage the Finance Shared Services team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Provide mentorship, training, and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and career growth.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

Financial Operations:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Finance Shared Services team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and manage the necessary activities for the month-end and year-end closing.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Lead automation and digitization initiatives to streamline financial operations.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all finance functions.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audit processes and address any findings.
  • Mitigate financial risks by implementing robust internal controls and monitoring mechanisms.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and present reports, analyses, and recommendations to senior management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations and delivery teams.
  • Serve as a point of contact for inquiries and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various projects and initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 -12 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within a Finance Shared Services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices in shared services.
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in process improvement, automation, and project management
