The Growth Business team is a scaled midmarket sales team that is part of TikTok’s Global Business Solutions Division. The role is directly responsible for building relationships and helping clients drive business results on TikTok through consultation, education, and support. Ideal candidates will combine an exceptional ability to provide consultative selling; a passion for growing revenue; an outstanding ability to set strategic vision; and a willingness to execute the tactics. Success in this position requires strong sales and client-facing experience; problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
- Lead and drive a high performing team of new business hunters locally, setting a high standard of communication and client management for the team to follow
- Successfully build and manage a pipeline of clients and deliver against a quarterly revenue target
- Drive cross functional collaboration to create compelling vertical narratives and articulate the value proposition to a diverse range of advertisers
- Formulate strategies to unlock key verticals and identify brands/decision makers that optimize the market potential
- Champion the needs of clients internally and advocate for appropriate resourcing and support
- Serve as an external product consultant on properties that are owned and operated by ByteDance
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in digital ad sales or business development, creating and delivering against strategic organisational priorities
- 3-5 years in a people management funciton
- Strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape and a network of advertisers and/or media agencies
- Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales targets
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in educating and upskilling advertisers through the lifecycle of advertising
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, ambiguous team environment
- Expertise in launching and managing paid digital advertising campaigns
