Senior Invoice-To-Cash Manager to lead a team focused on B2B billing, cash applications, credit, and receivables collection. The AR Manager will play a key role in establishing policies, implementing best practices, and ensuring timely billing and collections while minimizing risk and bad debt exposure.
- Lead and manage team resources, prioritizing activities to enhance operational excellence and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs). Provide weekly and monthly AR metrics and dispute summaries to management.
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and year-end AR closing processes, Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) controls, and internal and external audit requirements.
- Manage projects related to the transition of responsibilities to Shared Services and third parties, as well as Oracle Fusion system enhancements, integration, and implementation.
- Conduct research and analysis on customer deductions, including shortage claims, pricing differences, and contractual allowances.
- Collaborate with Sales, Credit, and Legal teams to address credit needs, mitigate risks, and resolve issues and disputes in a timely manner.
- Organize and manage staff workloads, ensuring adequate backup, training plans, and compliance with segregation of duties controls.
- Maintain and update process documentation, ensuring timely incorporation, review, and approval of process changes.
- Build strong relationships with key customers and internal departments, including Sales, Finance, and Customer Service, to ensure prompt resolution of customer issues.
- Hire, mentor, and develop team members.
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships with both internal and external customers at all levels.
- Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of relevant invoice-to-cash experience in a large organization preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or D365 is strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience leading an Accounting/Finance/Shared Service team.
- Proficiency in Excel, including LOOKUP functions and PivotTables.
