For our locations in Wuppertal, Frankfurt, Berlin and Hamburg, we are looking for a Group Manager IT Basic Services – CTO – (Bank, Leasing) (m/f/d) in a permanent full-time position as soon as possible.
You lead the “IT Shared Services” group with currently 13 employees and support your employees in change processes through coaching and reflection as well as through personal and professional development and promote an open feedback and learning culture.
- You ensure service-oriented IT operations for the IT services Network Security & Identity, Data Center & Cloud Services, Corporate Support and Technical Application Support, taking into account costs, performance and internal customer satisfaction, and ensure compliance with quality standards, guidelines and legal requirements.
- You develop strategies to ensure that the IT infrastructure is flexible and scalable. This includes the IT infrastructure and cloud strategy, including the further development of corresponding roadmaps, taking into account the company, IT security and IT strategy as well as long-term transformation projects.
- They drive innovation in IT infrastructure, including integrating new technologies and best practices to continuously improve efficiency and performance.
- You develop strategies to continuously optimize operating costs without compromising the performance or security of the IT infrastructure. In addition, you identify cost-saving potential, regularly inform yourself about the cost development of your services and support our controlling to ensure fair and transparent internal allocation of costs
- You are responsible for managing IT service providers using service levels for infrastructure operations and technical application operations and ensure optimal service quality.
- In addition, you and your team support projects from conception to successful implementation in compliance with time and budget specifications and act as an interface to the service providers you manage
- You are responsible for the planning, billing and invoicing of the services provided by our external infrastructure service providers, including regular reporting on cost developments and service provision.
- You are the contact person for BaFin, our internal IT audit and external auditors in fundamental IT infrastructure questions as well as in special institution-specific issues.
- You have completed a [SJ1] university degree in computer science, business informatics, economics, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification.
- You have several years of experience in leading teams and in developing and successfully implementing strategies related to IT infrastructure (on premise and cloud).
- You have strong leadership and communication skills, which include the ability to motivate and lead teams and to communicate a clear vision for the IT infrastructure of the future.
- You have a high degree of initiative, a sense of responsibility, the ability to work independently and make decisions. You are also a team player with a reliable working style and very good, active communication skills in a demanding work environment, also in English if required.
- You have an inspiring personality and are able to harmonize the needs of different stakeholders. You have an inner mindset in which lifelong learning and the willingness to self-reflect are a natural part of the leadership role.
- You have a good knowledge of regulatory requirements such as MaRisk (Minimum Requirements for Risk Management (BA)), BAIT (Banking Supervisory Requirements for IT), the European Central Bank (ECB) ICT Guidelines and new regulations such as DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act, Regulation (EU) 2022/2554).
