The HR Operations Head (m/f/d) for the EMEA region will be responsible for delivering exceptional HR services in the area of HR administration, time & attendance, and payroll and for driving streamlined processes that ensure data quality, time accuracy and compliance. The role is based at one of our major sites within Germany or France and will be part of a regional and global HR Operations network.
- Lead the entire range of HR administrative and payroll tasks and monitor and enhance service delivery standards to ensure global consistency, enhancing both manager and employee experiences
- Review and adapt the HR service delivery structure to meet changing business needs as services are currently either delivered centrally by the HR Operations team or through HR Business Partners or the Talent Acquisition team
- Establish structures and processes to make the HR Operations function the first point of contact for employees for all HR-related inquiries and requests
- Manage and develop the HR Operations team to ensure that the local HR strategy is implemented effectively and within established budgets and standards
- Ensure the delivery of streamlined, digitalized, and simplified HR operational processes and solutions and driving the development of HR Operations and Payroll solutions in line with the global HR Information System strategy
- Build partnerships and solicit feedback from internal and external stakeholders to define and develop successful, scalable processes and practices
- University degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Finance, or another relevant discipline
- At least 10 years of work experience within the field of HR Shared Services and/or Payroll, preferably in an international matrix environment
- At least 5 years of leadership experience with a clear sense of accountability and results orientation
- Direct project management experience; transformation/implementation experience preferred
- Proven business partnering, collaboration, and influencing skills; advanced stakeholder management of senior business and HR leaders
- Demonstrated ability to use data-driven insights to measure performance and drive lean and continuous improvements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills in French, German, or Spanish are advantageous
