We are looking for a highly motivated, results driven Senior Business Information Security Manager to be based in London, help manage security requirements across our Shared Services Division within D&A. Working within a wider Business Information Security Management team, the successful individual will also be key in shaping developments and improvements across technology and product divisions alike.

  • Develops detailed knowledge of Shared Services direction, priorities, opportunities and challenges in order to prioritise security focus and drive good risk decisions
  • Drives development, implementation, maintenance and improvement of all information security related activities in alignment with LSEG’s Cyber & Information Security Strategy
  • Ensures that security standards are applied consistently across the entire function, to ensure the security landscape does not fracture
  • Builds positive relationships within the product teams to gain an understanding of security-related risks
  • Engages with key partners on the health of their information security programme, providing guidance on addressing key risks identified
  • Works closely with the central Cyber Intelligence and Security Operations teams to identify and mitigate any potential ST security threats or resolve ST related security incidents
  • Works with product teams to ensure that information security policies and standards are integrated with business processes. Constructively challenging existing processes where necessary
  • Communicates the importance of, and promoting awareness of, information security to relevant teams. Increasing business awareness of emerging security risk. Helping develop a security culture within ST
  • Effectively collaborates with both product and security leadership on security and business considerations for ST
  • Ensures teams understand their responsibilities in relation to security risk mitigation and remediation
  • Provides guidance for audit preparation and addressing audit findings and maintains a balanced relationship with internal and external audit functions

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in working within Technology functions to ensure that Security standards are imbedded and maintained while not impeding innovation and advancement
  • Experience in of conducting security risk assessments
  • Hands on experience with assessing and handling Major Security Incidents
  • Consistent track record of using industry standard processes and frameworks and promoting innovation across the organisation in the use of technology
  • Experience in regulated areas e.g. privacy, resilience and quality assurance
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationship with a division’s Business and Technology partners.
  • Proven high performance in problem solving, collaboration and priority setting
  • Good communication skills: effective listening, persistence, composure
  • Experience with regulator engagement

Nice to have:

  • Qualifications in security management for example, but not limited to CISM or ISO 2700x
  • Business and sector expertise
  • Experience of ensuring security compliance within an agile function
