Robert Half is seeking a dynamic Shared Services Accounting Manager to oversee fixed assets accounting, General Ledger (GL), and reconciliations. This position a hybrid role located in Brentwood, TN.
- Overseeing all shared services, tangible and intangible, including fixed assets accounting, GL, and reconciliations
- Enforcing compliance with GAAP and maintaining high standard financial reporting
- Calculating, recording depreciation, preparing financial reports and analysis, audit assistance, fixed asset reconciliations, asset tracking, and maintaining internal controls under the heading of Fixed Assets
- Managing lease functions, including maintaining lease accuracy, lease entries, and identifications, managing rights of asset and lease accountability, preparing lease disclosure reports, and reconciling lease expenses
- Supervising, coaching, and developing a team
- Actively seeking continuous improvement
- Performing ad hoc tasks aimed at system and process improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, CPA certification is highly preferred
- MBA or Master’s in accounting is highly desired.
- 8+ years of experience in accounting within a Shared Services environment
- 3-5 years of leadership experience in managing accounting teams.
- Experience in large scale, publicly-traded organizations and strong technical accounting knowledge and application of GAAP.
- Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions like VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to handle high volumes of transactions and changes in accounting standards.
