This role, based in Manila, Philippines, is essential for driving JBS’s global risk and business continuity strategies, ensuring effective implementation and ongoing improvement.
Strategic Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintainand oversee globally comprehensive risk management and business continuity program that align with organizational goals and cost objectives, engaging multiple stakeholders across our global teams
- Establish, implement, and maintain risk appetite statements, key risk measures, risk triggers, and appropriate escalation protocols across the 5 centers globally
- Foster a strong risk culture by collaborating with the SLT, Risk Champions, Emergency Responders, and other teams to promote awareness and drive embedding risk management into the JBS organization
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in risk, incident, and business continuity management practices globally
- Implement and manage global governance processes including risk committee meetings, risk reporting, and policy reviews
Operational Responsibilities:
- Drive risk and control assessments across global operational processes, process transitions, automations, bot implementations, and other high-impact areas. Collaboratively establish and track mitigation actions to closure
- Coordinate and lead global real-time incident management, conduct thorough post-incident reviews, read across for similar processes across JBS, and ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Develop emergency response protocols, manage threat assessments globally, and ensure timely escalation and communication of incidents
- Deliver staff training initiatives working closely with Center Leadership, Risk Champions, and Emergency Responders across centers
- Maintain and enhance business continuity management systems and processes, ensuring regular testing and refinement of BCPs across the centers
- Conduct Call Cascade testing, Security and Site risk assessments, Scenario exercises, and plan walkthroughs
Performance objectives
- Influence & Lead JBS’s agenda for Risk, Incident and Business Continuity Management across the globe
- Design, implement and monitor program initiatives across all centers
- Build a highly engaged and capable extended team utilizing risk champions, bringing our enabling function capabilities to best in class standards
- Anticipates and plans long-term risk mitigation through adequate liaison with global risk experts – technology, HR, HSSE, Legal, global Risk and BCM etc.
- Provides expertise, support and frameworks / guidance and toolkits to enable teams to evolve and manage risks adequately
Key Skills
- Risk, Incident and Business Continuity Management subject matter expertise with experience in a shared services / GCC organization
- Strong Risk Management background, including driving operational risk and Business continuity programs
- Excellent communication (verbal, in-person and written) and interpersonal skills to manage multiple stakeholders from various domains
- Ability to influence and guide senior stakeholders.
- Experience in Technology, Information Security, Financial Audits will be an added advantage
