We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to head the Business Operations & Shared Services Team, with proven outstanding skill in implementation, monitoring, and governance of operational performance. The Head of Business Operations & Shared Services will provide business performance and operational insights and drive operational governance across the Networks domain.

  • Oversee and execute the e2e resource management process (onshore and offshore) ensuring optimal cost structure, organizational hygiene (span of control and pyramid), and achievement of financial expectations
  • Drive monthly governance and executive reviews, establishing priorities, process, and standardization, while demonstrating superior storytelling. Support the business in preparation of content for reviews.
  • Provide superior business analysis and operational insights that drive profit improvement
  • Lead strategic planning and annual business planning cycles ensuring organizational objectives are captured and executed. Partnering with Finance to drive competitive cost structures across Networks. Establish and measure OKRs and KPIs that drive business results.
  • Establish, drive, and align annual SDE/Wave plans with the domain and finance, providing oversight and governance of initiative.
  • Manage and drive strategies, in partnership with corporate functions, to reduce spend in centralized cost (Facilities, Mobility, and IT)
  • Establish a valued “consultative challenger” relationship with the leader and other supporting organizations, ensuring optimum interaction, network performance, operations excellence and superior customer satisfaction
  • Partner with DFDO Data Office and MANA leadership to drive data strategies, risk assessments, policies and procedures, and access management across MANA to secure Ericsson and customer data. Ensure data integrity and accuracy while driving one truth.
  • Drive strategy, innovation, and best in class reporting for Networks and other organizations
  • Drive strategy and innovation in alignment with BNEW Service Area Networks to optimize and simplify our tools strategy. Ensure lifecycle manage plans are developed, documented, and executed.
  • Partner with the business to manage tool requirements and identify, design, and implement automations that drive increase profitability, while prioritize business and customer requirements
  • Deliver success through empowerment and accountability of your team by modeling culture and behaviors defined by our 5 focus areas of Ericsson on the Move with an emphasis on integrity

Functional & technical acumen:

  • Exceptional knowledge and technology expertise in:
  • Strong wireless industry wide knowledge
  • Market Area North America (MANA) customer specific challenges and needs
  • Proven track record with continuous improvement methodologies like Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.
  • Results-oriented mindset in the planning, execution, and broad service delivery/operational understanding
  • Strong operational/financial acumen and broad business skill set with the capacity to drive results by turning data analytics into actionable business insights
  • Storytelling and executive messaging with experience in preparing and presenting high quality Executive level presentations
  • Strong relationship with Business Areas and Domains in the Market Area
  • Demonstrated ability to drive multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Continuous learner with proven ability to quickly learn and apply new technology areas

Minimum experience & education requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, finance, accounting, or IT
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the management consulting, leading strategy definition and management activities
  • Six-sigma certification or alike preferred
