The role will have the overall responsibility to lead this COE, full accountable and responsible for managing the E2E execution of interco optimized operations in line with group policies with high quality and under continuous improvement approach, including technology management & administration and robust master data definition.
This role is Global and part of the A2R organization.
Main responsibilities:
In this role you will…
- Act as delivery manager ensuring strategic alignment and overseeing the Interco COE day-to-day operations providing expertise and guidance
- Ensure an agile program delivery that enables to build the right solutions that deliver business value swiftly and define key metrics for sourcing organization effectiveness
- Ensure Compliance and Internal Control/ SOX standards are met
The Interco COE Head will manage:
Continuous improvement people responsible for
- Identifying and facilitating the core model improvement initiatives and driving these activities to improve SOPs
- Collecting, documenting and educating on best practices
- Executing intercompany KPIs and ensuring improvement plans are identified and implemented
- Contributing to tools deployment
- In line with the global A2R core model, provides and monitors service KPIs and dashboards to measure and improve performance (cost, efficiency, quality/ compliance, user experience)
Master Data & Technology/Automation people responsible for
- Defining Interco Master Data governance, business rules and scope
- Ensuring Interco Vendors/Customers creation and maintenance in line with Interco Master Data Governance.
- Coordinating with other Master Data owners for Master Data that impact Interco Operations (e.g VAT codes, GL accounts)
- Ensuring proper administration and availability of the Interco solutions
- Identifying & recommending evolutions on the system landscape for Interco in collaboration with Digital and the Interco GPL
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Operational team responsible for
- Issuing invoices, booking, settlements and reconciliation of Interco Services & Interco Manual Interco product flow
- Reconciling automated Interco product flows
- Performing month-end closing & Reporting’s on Interco data
- Contributing to external and Tax Audits
Stakeholders’ Management
- Cultivates strategic partnerships: Internal control, Consolidation team, GPO, Treasury and Finance Business Partners
- Sets up close relationships with regional and local stakeholders when needed to allow smooth communication, efficient change management and issue resolution
- Collects stakeholders’ feedback and provides feedback to stakeholders for mutual improvement
People Management
- Gives visibility and communicates on the evolution of the Interco activities
- Sets objectives for his/her staff and assesses the contributions during interviews
- Develops team skillset to adapt to evolving roles in the COE coming from new technologies and changes in organization
- Oversees hiring process and manages career path for his/her team
- Creates a culture of cooperation, performance and teamwork across Interco COE members, especially between the Global roles & Captive & Interco COE members in the countries and ensure a smooth interface to the relevant stakeholders inside and outside of A2R
Experience:
- 5 – 10 years of experience in GL accounting
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing multi-cultural teams
Soft and technical skills:
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end A2R processes and GBS organization
- Strong problem solving, research & resolution, data analysis skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Effective collaboration skills with peers, stakeholders, and partners in a shared service environment
- High level of Interpersonal/ communication skills with an ability to communicate and present at different levels of the organization
- Change agent with experience in process improvement
Education:
- Degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics or equivalent
- Knowledge of IFRS with ability to identify gaps to local GAAP (accounting qualification ACCA, CPA or similar, is a plus)
Languages:
- Fluency in English mandatory and other European languages are a plus
