The Senior Manager – Finance and Accounts Outsourcing is responsible for leading and managing the delivery of outsourced finance and accounting services to clients. This role involves strategic planning, client management, process optimization, and team leadership.

Client Management:

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
• Regularly review client feedback and implement necessary improvements to enhance client satisfaction.

Service Delivery and Operations:

• Oversee the execution of finance and accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and financial reporting.\
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for clients, adhering to agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the finance and accounting outsourcing team to meet service-level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Process Optimization and Innovation:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Implement best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline workflows.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in finance and accounting technology to drive innovation.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals to ensure they possess the necessary skills and knowledge.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment within the team.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensure all financial operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including tax laws, accounting standards, and data protection regulations.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with outsourced services.
• Collaborate with internal & external audit teams to address any discrepancies or issues identified during audits.

Business Development:

• Support the business development team in acquiring new clients by participating in presentations, proposals, and negotiations.
• Identify opportunities for expanding services with existing clients.
• Contribute to the growth and profitability of the finance and accounts outsourcing division.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 15-18 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 10 years in a leadership role within an outsourcing or shared services environment.
