They are looking for Regional Finance Manager / Regional Finance Controller that looks after the Statutory reporting activities. You will be Managing the audit process, audit planning , resource planning for assigned portfolio of entities
- Ensure that adequate financial management procedures and systems are in place within the Company’s Group
- Managing several teams of audit by countries, managing statutory accountant team, coordinators , coordinating audits with auditors , opco and internal department kExternal Advisor resources for supporting documentation.
- Meet required KPI for audit documentation turnaround
- Identify new IFRS changes and provide knowledge sharing on implications and work with External Audit and Opco on identifying impact
- Work with Group Internal Audit and Controls and Compliance personnel to ensure strong internal controls / governance process exist
- Prepare Financial reports for quarterly and annual closings and ensure that the accounts are in compliance with statutory requirements, approved accounting standards, relevant acts, and regulations.
- Responsible for the statutory audit, statutory accounts activities
- Comply with the financial reporting requirements of the Headquarters (monthly, quarterly and annual reporting according to IFRS, lease, and risk assessment, etc.)
- Support the implementation of technology enablers to drive process harmonization and support continuous improvement projects.
- Quality check control on the statutory accounts prior to release to Opco and auditors in accordance to IFRS , FRS, MFRS, MPERS
- Total years of experience should be a minimum of 7 years in accounting & Finance field
- Experience in statutory reporting activities & Experience liaising with External auditors is required
- Candidate from Big 4 background is advantageous
- Strong technical knowledge in understanding and interpreting financial reporting standards.
- Degree or Diploma in Finance & Accounting/Commerce or equivalent with professional qualifications e.g.ACCA/CPA/MIA.
- Good communication skill and able to communicate effectively in English.
