HR Shared Services team manages the preparation of letter of offer, on-boarding activities, employee declarations, pre and post employee screenings, benefits assignment, records management, and activities related to the Representative Notification Framework for financial advisers. Moreover, they also maintain staff movements within the bank as well as across subsidiaries, ensuring strict adherence to employment laws in its respective jurisdiction, handling of work visa including dependents and employee life cycle related matters.

You will support the HR Shared Services (Employee Support & Advisory) team lead in managing and streamlining HR operations across the employee lifecycle. You will ensure seamless delivery of HR services, drive process improvements, and maintain compliance with local regulations. You will also participate in the Digital Transformation initiatives involving HR Shared Services.

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of HR services and ensure efficient execution of HR processes and meet/exceed the service level agreements.
  • Act as a mentor and coach to team members, providing guidance and support for professional growth.
  • Be the main point of contact between HR shared services and other teams to ensure smooth operations and quick resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Center of Excellence, and other internal stakeholders to align HR shared services with business priorities.
  • Leverage technology and identify opportunities for automation to optimise process workflows and improve employee experience.
  • Review, maintain and update HR Shared Services policies and procedures regularly.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with HR operations.
  • Ensure data privacy and security standards are upheld across HR Operations.
  • Support internal and external audits, HR compliance testing as well as regulatory inspections.
  • Participate actively in Digital transformation initiatives especially those involving HR Shared Services team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in HR, with a strong background in HR shared services, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Workday HCM.
  • Proven ability to mentor a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving process improvements and implementing HR technology solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders of all levels.
