The HR Shared Services Lead reports to the Director, HRBP and will partner directly with all HR Directors, other HR Managers and HR team members to provide shared services support across HR. In this position you will manage the HR Shared Services Team who will provide a high-level HR support across all of Bassett Healthcare Network, provide administrative leadership and management to the Shared Services Team Members. This position is responsible for the regular auditing, reporting of key metrics, and innovation of the shared services functions process. This is an on-site position and will be based at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown, NY.

  • Mange the HR Shared Services Team in providing a concierge shared services experience for all Bassett Healthcare Network employees and new hires.
  • Ensure the HR Shared Services Team provides excellent customer service and resolves HR-related queries effectively
  • Manage the employee files process and audits network wide to include all employee files.
  • Monitors the team performance to confirm completion of assigned steps within established SLAs
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for the Shared Services team member escalations and processes.
  • Identifies and implements process improvements for shared services processes.
  • Provide administrative leadership and management to the Shared Services Team Members.
  • Ensure processes and documentation comply with the Network and Joint Commission requirements.
  • Maintain SOPs, process documentation and documentation regarding shared services processes to ensure consistency, compliance, and service excellence.
  • Evaluates, develops and maintains performance improvement standards and key performance indicators.
  • Manage, coach and develop employees of the HR Shared Services team.
  • Regularly generate reports on the effectiveness of the HR Shared Services team and propose innovative solutions
  • Leads assigned projects and/or committees, as required to support HR network functions
  • Assist with the annual HR budget
  • Other duties may be assigned

What we need from you

  • 4 year / Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required. Experience may be substituted for a degree.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years HR experience, required
  • Minimum 2 years Leadership experience, required
  • Healthcare experience, preferred
