To guide and conduct biomedical research facility-related issues including but not limited to projects, renovations, space inventory, equipment, furniture, utilization, and emergency response, and liaison between UAB Auxiliary Support teams for partnering HSOM Departments.

• Oversee and coordinate the activities of facility administrators in the Dean’s Office.
• Collaborate with departments to create and execute detailed scopes of services.
• Lead a working group for Facilities personnel within HSOM Departments to foster collaboration and uphold best practices in facility management.
• Address and respond to the needs and requests of various departments as required.
• Develop and sustain systems for tracking facility service requests, procurement and repair of common equipment, and consistent equipment monitoring.
• Work with UAB Auxiliary Departments to process items and resolve issues efficiently.
• Provide updates on progress and major issues to the HSOM Executive Director of Project Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and eight (8) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
