Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role will be responsible for leading the Pricing/Billing, Rebate and Credit Departments for our client’s businesses to better align these functions across all North American operations within this organization. In addition, this individual will have oversight over the Wilmington Shared Service Center.
To the organization:
- Evaluate policies, procedures, and internal controls for improvement and compliance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline processes and resolve inquiries.
- Collaborate with various department heads to develop a positive work environment.
- Lead ad hoc projects and coordinate departmental activities.
- Ensure successful transformational communication within the organization.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
To the team:
- Set objectives and targets for invoicing, accounts receivable, pricing, and credit teams.
- Prepare dashboards and analysis on performance against KPIs.
- Motivate, train, and evaluate employees for enhanced performance.
- Develop and implement departmental plans supporting IKO’s strategic goals.
- Lead pricing, billing, and rebate teams.
To the function:
- Formulate strategies for credit limit maintenance and collections.
- Oversee credit application practices and approvals.
- Develop business relationships with internal and external customers.
- Ensure accurate and timely billing and rebate processing.
- Resolve inquiries and disputes related to accounts and rebates.
- Enhance rebate processes for business success.
- Perform comprehensive analyses on trends and KPI performance.
- Partner with business and sales teams to align North American customer-facing functions.
- A business degree (BBA) in accounting is required.
- A master’s degree and/or a CPA designation is required.
- A minimum of 10 years experience in a business environment is required.
- Experience in a customer-focused role is required.
- Experience working in a manufacturing company is preferred.
- Proven skills in leadership, project management, and problem-solving.
- Strong initiative and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to develop and successfully implement policies and procedures.
