Our client, a global leader in technology solutions, is seeking a Senior Manager, Shared Services to oversee their Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
- Provide leadership and strategic oversight to the AP/AR managers, ensuring they effectively manage their teams and maintain operational excellence across the shared services functions.
- Develop and implement best practices for AP/AR processes, driving continuous improvement and streamlining workflows at a managerial level.
- Set performance standards and objectives for the AP/AR managers, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall financial goals and strategies.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders (Finance, Treasury, Procurement, IT) to ensure seamless integration of AP/AR processes with broader business strategies.
- Oversee the implementation and optimization of financial systems related to AP/AR, ensuring managers drive process automation and improve reporting capabilities.
- Monitor KPIs and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of AP/AR managers and their teams, identifying areas for improvement and coaching managers on strategic initiatives.
- Serve as the main point of contact for senior leadership regarding AP/AR operations, providing insights and updates on performance and strategic goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (CPA or equivalent qualification preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in AP/AR management, preferably in a global or shared services environment.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing and developing teams in a fast-paced, multinational setting.
- Strong knowledge of AP/AR processes, financial systems, and best practices, with experience in process optimization and automation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and regions.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, as well as strong Excel skills.
- Bilingualism.
