The IT Business Design and Transformation Director performs a critical enabler role for the Globe’s IT organization. Initiates and drives strategic planning activities across the critical elements of IT’s operating model: Core Services, Centers for Enablement (C4Es), Shared Services, and Enablers.
To enrich these activities, the manager works with industry consultants and experts while aligning internal priorities and plans with Experience Delivery Tribe and relevant business groups.
Works closely with the CIO to drive velocity and bias towards action for IT’s priority strategic and transformation initiatives. Also, works hand in hand with ISG leaders to funnel the right resources, investments and focus in the key strategic and transformation areas.
- STRATEGY ORCHESTRATION – ensuring that strategies are implemented, transformation priorities are carried out and blockers are addressed
- VISIBILITY AND INSIGHTING – delivering relevant information in a timely manner and layering in strategic insights
- STRATEGIC DECISIONS – orchestrating the right conversations and bridging the relevant leaders/teams to land the decisions needed to move our strategic objectives
- STRATEGIC GOVERNANCE – enabling the CIO to have the proper oversight and control to be able to steer the direction for IT
- COMMUNICATIONS – enabling the CIO to deliver the right, needed message to the right stakeholders at the right time
Work Experience
- Relevant and solid experience in Program Management Process Management, Business Transformation
- Nice to have Project Management Certification and/or Agile Project Management Certification
- Preferably at least 10 years of demonstrated experience working in the same field (Strategy Management, IT Transformation, Large-scale
- Program Management Process Management, Business Transformation)
- Knowledge and exposure to different IT Solutions and Telco Industry
- Knowledgeable on process best practices and process improvement principles
- Solid IT background, good to have if in a telco industry
Skills
- Strong project management skills to ensure IT strategic and transformation initiatives are delivered in compliance with established KPIs and timelines
- Effective change management and communication skills to be able to influence, guide others and manage the change associated with the implementation of strategic initiatives
- Strong understanding of Globe and ISG’s business objectives to translate them into effective IT strategic and transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with the telecommunications business domain, its processes, IT systems/technologies, operations, industry competitors and market trends
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
