As the Director of People Operations, you will lead and optimise the entire employee experience, ensuring Probe Group is positioned as an employer of choice while aligning with our broader business strategy. This role consolidates all operational functions across People Experience (PX), including transactional PX activities, workplace relations case management, talent acquisition (TA) admin support, remuneration, compliance, and knowledge management. You’ll drive operational efficiency through technology and ensure ongoing optimisation.

  • Lead the end-to-end employee lifecycle, collaborating with the GE PX, Strategic Business Partners, and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to execute the PX business plan.
  • Develop and manage a Shared Service model for all transactional PX activities, maximizing digital capabilities.
  • Build and lead a team of People Advisors to serve as the primary point of contact for all workplace relations matters.
  • Oversee PX Data Intelligence and Technology, supporting acquisitions, integrations, divestments, and change projects in collaboration with the PMO.
  • Partner with the Legal team to develop strategies that mitigate risks across the employee lifecycle, focusing on knowledge management.
  • Manage PX-related budgets, supplier relationships, and process optimizations alongside GE PX.
  • Lead remuneration benchmarking and salary review processes in partnership with Senior Business Partners and the Organizational Development team.
  • Drive change and transformation initiatives with the Strategic Business Partners and PMO.
  • Harmonization of brands to ensure one best-in-class process (unless legally required otherwise), even if managed across different systems

You are a strategic leader with a proven track record of managing large-scale people operations and delivering impactful results through process optimization and technology. Your experience spans workplace relations, remuneration, compliance, and talent management, and you strongly focus on operational efficiency. You thrive in dynamic environments, lead with a collaborative mindset, and have the ability to manage complex change initiatives across multiple business units. Your experience with data intelligence and HR technology sets you apart in driving innovation and excellence.

Key Skills and Attributes Required:

  • Extensive experience in people operations, including workplace relations, compliance, and talent management.
  • Proven leadership in driving operational efficiency through technology and Shared Services models.
  • Strong knowledge of remuneration benchmarking, salary review processes, and compliance-related matters.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience leading change management and transformation initiatives in fast-paced, complex environments.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with proficiency in People Experience Data Intelligence and HR technology systems.
  • Proven track record in managing budgets and supplier relationships, focusing on cost optimization.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality, with a deep understanding of legal and risk management in HR processes.
