- Ownership of the Shared Services department initiatives and projects inventory
- Lead and manage multiple IT initiatives and projects across the shared services area
- Assists peer managers, in the planning, documenting and completion of IT tasks across various department initiatives and projects
- Represent IT Shared Services area in enterprise project assessment activities and liaison with the PMO and project stakeholders on enterprise projects, as needed
- Assists peer managers in enterprise project task activities as needed, which may include coordinating/leading business and/or third-party vendor discussions, as needed
- Oversight of IT Shared Services participation in enterprise projects and other IT projects across department disciplines
- Engage appropriate stakeholders to manage and track identified risks, progress interruptions, plan/task changes and/or delivery status
- Develop overall initiative status reporting, issue management, and ongoing management routines in addition to status updates to leadership and stakeholders
- Assist peer managers in identifying formal documentation needs applicable to change initiatives
- Develop strong working relationship with team and understanding of IT Shared Services area of responsibility
- Oversee the IT department shared procurement processes, including purchase orders, invoices and chargebacks, and general ledger reconciliation for IT
- Oversee the IT department application inventory IT support process
- Supports the Head of IT Shared Services in any support areas as needed
- Knowledge of and competency in project management processes, including planning, risk management, issues management, time management, monitoring and reporting and documentation
- Strong knowledge of financial industry including products, business processes, platforms and systems
- Strong understanding of business analysis and business requirements
- Strong knowledge of IT security and governing principles
- Inter-departmental collaboration skills necessary to build relationships with technology peers and lines of business
- Strong oral communication, written and presentation skills
- Willingness to demonstrate and teach basic project management and process improvement techniques to others
- Supervise and monitor staff to ensure Bank of Hope performance standards and growth potential are met
- Understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

- Preferred:
- Experience in banking or financial institutions
- Experience with core banking systems and their supporting ancillary systems
