For this beautiful family business we are looking for a right-hand man of the CFO in the role of Group Controller. In this role you report directly to the CFO and you are the linchpin in the further scaling up and professionalization of the Finance & Control function.

• Setting up and structuring the Finance function at holding level;
• Preparation, analysis and presentation of the consolidated group report;
• Accelerate and optimize reporting processes;
• Integrating and managing the Financial Shared Service Centre;
• Acting as co-pilot of the CFO in the context of an ERP implementation;
• Coordinating the budgeting process;
• Optimizing management (KPI) reporting, including through the use of BI.

• Completed university education (Business Economics, Business Administration or Accountancy);
• RA title is a definite plus;
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience in a similar position within an international environment (possibly partly from the Big4 Audit);
• Able to structure complex processes leading to more efficient workflows and clear reporting (affinity and experience with ERP / BI);
• Analytically strong, solution-oriented and pragmatic (with regard to financial and operational issues);
• Extensive experience in coaching, motivating and developing teams;
• Solid knowledge of taxation, legislation, policy and implementation;
• Fluent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
