Leading HRSS business critical programs, this role will serve as a key partner in supporting cross-team collaboration (teams include HR tech, Analytics & User experience, Governance & Delivery) to ensure these initiatives are best-in-class and on-time. The role will report directly to the Sr. Director of HRSS and collaborate with a variety of internal teams, other HR functions. It is key that the candidate have an entrepreneurial mindset, as well as be comfortable with the uncomfortable and adapting to shifting priorities.
- Manage the Project Plan: Own and lead the preparation of the Project Execution Plan (PEP) which shall include all facets of the project lifecycle from planning and execution, through to project closure. Work continuously to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the project. Create processes, mechanisms, and tools that shape the delivery of the program Day-to-day activities of the projects, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness of the projects management process, Interaction of project tasks, project risks, benefit realization, and budget.
- Manage Project Risks: Direct the project team’s efforts in the identification and impact of potential project risks in the form of a risk register; develop strategies and contingency plans to eliminate or mitigate the impact on project delivery of identified risks.
- Manage the Project Schedule: Manage the preparation of a comprehensive project schedule to ensure optimum operation in a safe and timely manner; meet project productivity and quality goals.
- Manage the Project Budget and Costs: Manage the fiscal activities of the project including the budgets and financial goals; monitor actual well/operations costs and benchmark against offset data of other external Peer HRSS to ensure that we are the best-in-class; review project expenditures to include approval of project spend; prepare project financial update reports on a regular basis to leadership. Onboard and offboard all contractors including managing all the necessary budget management and cost associated.
- Manage Project Conflicts and Problems: Coordinate and implement solutions from process analysis for general project issues; analyze and document problems, manage the development and execution of solutions to resolve problems as they arise and enhance efficiencies.
- Manage Project Communications: Provide regular reporting to the stakeholders and leadership & progress updates within Weatherford. Own the preparation of detailed project execution documentation and procedures for all HRSS function, and ensure they are adhered to and manage any changes that may be required. Ensure daily operations are executed according to the program, budget and schedule.
- Manage the Project Stakeholders: Work with key stakeholders in HRSS, HR function and executive teams to define strategy and requirements. Develop communication tools and tollgates to track all the independent workstreams (HR tech, Analytics & User experience, Governance, Delivery, COEs, HRBPs, Payroll) development work to effectively manage resources, demand, and business needs throughout the entire project plan.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of project management and related experience.
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Good understanding of HR processes, policies and procedures.
- 6+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience.
- Excellent communication skills and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) at an advanced level and SQL.
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules.
- Possesses a comprehensive knowledge of all HR, Payroll, and HRIT initiatives, which aids in steering decisions for demand and release/ delivery management.
Preferred:
- The ideal candidate is comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced and often uncertain environment, and contributing to innovative solutions, while demonstrating leadership and meticulousness. They have a proven track record of successfully managing stakeholders across multiple teams on short & long-term projects.
- LEAN, Six Sigma blackbelt, or other quality management certification OR equivalent knowledge, skills, experience.
- Earn trust through regular communication with senior management on status and risks.
- Ability to influence and drive alignment among a diverse set of stakeholders and teams globally.
