Being a member of Human Resources Total Rewards team, the APAC Benefits Associate Director role is accountable for all aspects of employee benefits, including planning, implementation, and administration, in order to support business objectives, and attract and retain talent. Provides day-to-day benefits support to employees, HR partners and clients.
- Implement and manage benefits processes and programs to ensure regulatory compliance, market competitiveness and internally consistency as appropriate.
- Assesses competitiveness of the existing benefits programs and participate in the design activities. The design should help in making sure that our benefits are competitive to support current business strategies.
- Directs leave administration and time management.
- Oversees benefits brokerage relationships, including renewals with local resource, market competitiveness studies, remarketing efforts, cost reviews and regulatory compliance.
- Oversees vendor relationship and balances partnership and customer/client relationship to proactively address issues and drive optimal employee experience.
- Focuses on robust wellbeing programs that connect the employee to the company and community, provide education for physical, mental, and financial wellness and improve employee engagement.
- Provides consultative subject matter expertise, advice, and guidance regarding benefits matters to the local leaders, and human resources.
- Develops and delivers strong implementation and change management plans for new and existing program enhancements or changes.
- Ensures on-going audits for internal compliance and adherence to local laws including regulatory reporting.
- Motivates and develops the benefits team, delegates effectively and manages performance effectively.
- Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; advances appropriately as needed.
- Minimum of 10 years corporate working experience.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in any human resources field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in total rewards.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in leading operations.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in people management.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Experience in System Innovation and Project Management
