As the Manager, Shared Service Center you will be responsible for overseeing the operational care team for both air and sea logistics. You will utilize your first-class people skills to manage a diverse team and foster a culture of continuous improvement, while ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Your strategic leadership will be crucial in maintaining and expanding our market presence.

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the US logistics market and industry trends
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and LEMAN US teams
  • Ensure the proper systems, procedures, internal controls, quality standards, metrics, and quality control processes are in place, with core focus on providing operational services to customer facing teams
  • Design and deliver the shared services vision using optimized processes and technologies
  • Design and implement process improvements that will create the most efficiency while maintaining high levels of customer care and satisfaction
  • Coaching, mentoring, training, and development of team members with focus on LEMAN’s People First approach (in on-site, hybrid, and remote environments)
  • Drive the employee experience on site, in-line with LEMAN values
  • Utilize experience in customer care and stakeholder management to drive growth
  • Promotes a business environment that fosters high standards with respect to ethics, integrity, and values.
  • 10+ years of experience in air and sea logistics
  • 5+ years of experience in shared services managerial role
  • Excellent leadership and organizational abilities, with a strong track record of leading teams and collaborating with international colleagues and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong understanding of the US logistics market
  • Broad market and regional knowledge of Mexico, US, and LATAM countries
  • Superior knowledge of industry regulations and operational guidelines
  • In-depth knowledge of data analysis software packages, PowerBI, CargoWise
  • Advanced English proficiency
  • Outstanding negotiation skills
  • Working knowledge of Mexico employment legislation
