As the Director of Shared Services within Consumer Services, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of connected services and solutions within the Volvo Group. Leading a team of nearly 150 professionals, you will nurture a culture of innovation, drive strategic development, and ensure operational excellence. All while delivering world-class services that empower our customers’ success.
- Lead a forward-thinking organization, cultivating an innovative mindset and modern ways of working
- Manage and inspire teams operating in an end-to-end product setup and project-based hybrid approaches, driving continuous improvement
- Ensure deep customer understanding, making strategic recommendations for new service developments aligned with the needs of Business Areas, Business Units, and Truck Divisions
- Ensure we build trust from our stakeholders in the Volvo Group as well as within Volvo Group Connected Solutions by always deliver on our commitments on time, with quality and cost
- Oversee the development of capacity and competence strategies that align with our long-term business plans and objectives
- Optimize operations, ensuring service reliability, cost efficiency, and quality enhancements across all services and solutions
- Stay ahead of industry trends, continuously monitoring the competitive landscape and market movements
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across Volvo Group and within Volvo Group Connected Solutions, and relevant engineering and commercial teams to ensure seamless execution
- Drive the development of your team, fostering a high-performance culture and taking ownership of day-to-day business
- As an active member of the global Consumer Services leadership team, contribute to shaping the broader strategy, business development, and other high-impact projects
- Serve as a role model by living and breathing the principles of our company, driving innovation and embedding operational excellence into everything we do

- Experience and proven track record in driving service development based on software technology in a global environment
- Interest in and solid understanding of our industry and our customers’ business
- Global leadership experience and proven track record of leading business, experts, leaders, and teams
- Experience and proven track record of managing a global service operation
- Excellent collaboration and team building skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Experience in product centric and agile ways of working
- Experience working in larger global group corporations
- Strong leadership capabilities with the experience in building and motivating high performing teams
- Successful in building excellent working relationships and operating effectively as a member of a leadership team.
- Master’s degree is preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
