This is a leadership role to support the Record to Report (RTR), Taxation, Pricing & Proposal, Compliance and Supply Chain vertical of the finance shared services which spread across multiple processes multiple processes at each vertical at GCC (Global Capability Center), Hyderabad.

  • Define with regional stakeholders a very robust matrix of role and responsibilities around operations being localized at SSC and partner with stakeholders in various regions / service lines to identify opportunities for future scope of the SSC.
  • Represent team for Business Governance Meetings on-site. Deep understanding of the business to be able to address issues being raised by On-site partners. Play the role of POC at GCC.
  • Focus on risk management with a view to mitigate and contain operational and regulatory risk in the various processes. Identify showstoppers wherever possible and build controls to eliminate such risks.
  • Effectively handle change management of processes as and when required.
  • Conducts performance review meetings with multiple stakeholders across teams and works on action plan when and where applicable. Stakeholder management is an integral responsibility of this role. Identify the pain points and proactively initiate measures to mitigate and address business issues.
  • Team management: conduct periodic performance assessment and provide feedback with respect to Productivity and Quality; retention enhancement and management; career development, coaching and mentoring of associates; succession planning within the unit etc.
  • Co-ordination and collaboration with stakeholders at various regions / service lines for identifying future opportunities for scope at GCC and ability to plan, coordinate, and execute process transitions.
  • Provides strategic inputs to next line Managers / Team Leads thru thought leadership and effective decision making and jointly responsible for the GCC processes addressing risks, mitigations, change management procedures to ensure seamless service deliveries of the processes.
  • Provides support, oversight, and direction to the GCC processes ensuring adequate staffing, training & development, and optimal operation in accordance with business requirements.
  • Enhances and / or develops, implements, and enforces policies and procedures that will improve the overall operational efficiencies and effectiveness of the GCC through innovation and automation.
  • Successful career track record and orientation towards people / client / operations Management with dynamic leadership and high levels of energy, integrity, and ethical practices.
  • Strong 15-18 years of professional experience in Finance and Accounts (F&A) business / Taxation / Compliance / Supply Chain / organization / BFS line with focus on minimum two domain in a shared services center in multinational dynamic environment.
  • Minimum of 10 to 12+ years as designated people management experience of managing a span of minimum 100 + people, with multiple functions across business, especially should have worked with multi-cultural environment across USA / UK / AUS/ EU countries…etc.
  • Should have strong understanding of finance processes, deep understanding of SOX and GAAP Compliance standards in the shared services center.
  • Extremely articulative with high levels of command over communication skills (written and verbal as well as receptive listening skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise manner to various levels of senior leadership in the organization.
  • Must be Quality Oriented (Lean / Six-Sigma qualified would be desirable) with a passion in process improvement and automation with excellent analytical/ problem-solving inclination.

Other requirements:

  • Proficiency with ERP applications: Oracle; SAP, etc. would be an added advantage.
  • Highly Proficient in MS suits like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, etc.
  • Attention to detail and able to maintain data confidentiality. Academic Background: Graduate/ Postgraduate in Commerce, such as B. Com; M. Com; MBA Finance; University Accounting certification; etc. Professional certification like CA/ CMA/CPA…are an added advantage
