ECCO is looking for Senior Global Process Owner (GPO) for All Towers within our Global Business Services (GBS) organization. This senior leadership role is responsible for designing, implementing, and governing all processes across ECCO’s Global Business Services (GBS) organization. The GPO will drive standardization, process improvements, and ensure alignment between ECCO Finance, Shared Service Centers (SSC), and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) providers. The GPO will also oversee the transition of all processes, manage process governance, and work closely with global teams to foster alignment and best practices.
Process Ownership & Governance:
- Act as the single point of accountability for the performance, management, and continuous improvement of global business processes.
- Define and enforce process governance models to ensure consistency and standardization across regions.
- Collaborate with regional and local teams to align global processes with local requirements and regulatory standards.
Process Improvement & Optimisation
- Lead process optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce cost, and improve service delivery within the GBS.
- Utilize data-driven insights and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement measurable solutions.
- Drive automation and digital transformation efforts within the GBS processes in partnership with the IT and digital teams.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, Supply Chain, HR, and other key business units to ensure process integration and alignment.
- Engage with senior leadership to understand business priorities and translate them into GBS process initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between the GBS organization and ECCO’s global offices to ensure seamless communication and process execution.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead a team of process owners and analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members, enabling growth within the organization.
- Lead and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver on key objectives related to process efficiency and effectiveness.
Change Management
- Drive change management activities to ensure successful adoption of process improvements and new technologies across the organization.
- Communicate process changes and enhancements effectively to stakeholders, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure that all business processes comply with internal and external regulations, standards, and policies.
- Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard ECCO’s operational integrity.
Transition Management
- Lead the GPO team to manage successful transition of activities into the GBS Department
- Develop Statements of Work (SOWs) aligned with the tasks transitioning into GBS.
- Collaborate with SMEs to ensure smooth transitions, monitor ramp-up phases, and oversee the creation of user guides and SOPs.
- Ensure accurate knowledge transfer between sending and receiving teams during transitions.
- Conduct follow-ups post-transition to stabilize and improve processes.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance and/or Accounting
- 10+ years of experience in Finance, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a GPO.
- Proven experience managing teams in Shared Services/GBS, preferably in a Center of Excellence (CoE) setting.
- Extensive experience in multinational environments, with expertise in Change Management.
- Background in building business cases for process improvements.
- Strong IT/Digital/Technology insights
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Expertise in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic abilities.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and process automation tools.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Strong prioritization, cultural awareness, and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken
