An organisation is looking for an ambitious and skilled professional to take up the position as Business Partner to the CFO & Executive Vice President of Global Business Services. The CFO area – Global Business Services (GBS) – covers Finance, Procurement, Investor Relations, IT and Legal & Compliance.
In this position you work as a trusted partner and support the CFO in executing the agenda and strategic priorities of ALK & Global Business Services, and thereby support the implementation of the overall ALK strategy. At the same time, you drive different projects across the organization, plus support the CFO in preparing agendas, different materials, conducting leadership team meetings, etc.
With your strategic mindset, strong communication and analytical skills, and solid project management experience you will on an on-going basis be responsible for different projects and agendas and ensure seamless coordination amongst a variety of stakeholders and at all times equip the CFO to be one step ahead.
Last, you work in close collaboration with the CFO & EVP HR Business Partner on organizational shaping and development initiatives plus the CFO PA (Personal Assistant) on meeting preparations, etc.
If you are ready to take up the challenge as the new Business Partner to the CFO, you can expect a central role within the management team in the CFO area with a broad exposure across the company. Thus, the position gives a great understanding of the broader ALK business and organization. The role is placed in ALK’s headquarters in Hørsholm, Denmark, reporting to the CFO, and is part of GBS Leadership Team.
As Business Partner your main responsibilities are:
- Trusted advisor and sparring partner to the CFO
- Prepare high quality material for the ALK Board of Directors, ALK Executive Leadership Team, different committees, etc.
- Prepare agenda and material for “ALK Chairship”, “GBS Business Review”, “GBS Leadership Team” and “GBS All” meetings
- Initiate and drive improvement projects within ALK and the global CFO organisation
- Participate on selected projects in the company on behalf of the EVP
- Be responsible for the BSC process within the CFO area
- Drive and make presentations for the CFO
- Drive communication activities for the CFO
- Drive day-to-day activities in close collaboration with PA to CFO
We imagine that you have previously worked with senior stakeholders in an international and fast-paced environment within business, finance or consulting.
Personality-wise you are a strong communicator, structured, analytical and on a constant lookout for continuous improvement and value creation for ALK and CFO area.
To succeed in the role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:
- A master’s degree within Business and/or Finance
- 1-3 years of project management experience
- 2-3 years of experience as trusted advisor on senior management level or as an external consultant
- Strong strategic reasoning and analytical skills
- Strong organizational and people skills, enabling you to cooperate and communicate across the organizational levels and cultures
- Well-structured and organized, with a high degree of individuality and drive
