If so, we want you to join our team as a Manufacturing Shared Services Manager! This role is directly responsible for all aspects of manufacturing and facilities maintenance at our Corporate Headquarters, for our 700,000 square foot facility. We are looking for this person to refine our preventive maintenance program to ensure continuous equipment operation to meet our customer’s needs. This position will also oversee supervisors within shared services, and drive efficiencies in those areas.
- Ensure all work is performed safely in accordance with safety policies and help drive a safety culture across the manufacturing facility. Assure team members follow all key safety processes including Arc Flash, LOTO, and Confined Space.
- Assure safety-related projects and work orders are prioritized to ensure a safe work environment and meet business needs.
- Implement a robust total preventative maintenance program to assure support of ongoing production and optimize machine uptime, while identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Responsible for delivering a high standard of shared services to the business including exceptional upkeep of the Facility and Grounds.
- Develop key metrics within maintenance to drive continuous improvement and ensure accountability.
- Partner cross-functionally with value streams and manufacturing engineering to assess all plant and facilities-related capital expenditures and to assure proper installation and support.
- Accountable to develop and achieve established budgets for departmental labor and overall spend.
- Respond to equipment and/or tooling downtime emergencies, and plan and execute remedial plans for any recurring situations.
- Support ongoing operations cost savings and performance improvement initiatives.
- Manage and coach employees. Lead processes related to hiring, training, development, performance evaluation, and retention.
- Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering bachelor’s degree, or degree in closely related field
- Implementation and/or Supervision of a Total Productive Maintenance or other similar Preventative Maintenance process.
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years of progressive supervisory experience
- Credentials in trades associated with Maintenance activities (e.g., Millwright, Fluid Power, etc.) or as a Journeyman Tool & Die Maker would be a plus
- Strong mathematical, quantitative, and analytical skills. Excellent problem-solver and decision-maker.
- Ability to interact at all levels within the organization. Foster teamwork in all interactions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present and facilitate meetings at all levels
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
