Salad and Go is seeking a Director of People Shared Services. The Director of People Shared Services is responsible for overseeing and leading a team to deliver exceptional HR services by resolving team member issues and concerns, ensuring compliance with all relevant labor and employment laws, and providing strategic support for special projects. This role will require a strong understanding of HR principles, a focus on operational excellence, and a passion for delivering outstanding employee experiences.

As the Director of People Shared Services, you will:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the People Service Center (PSC).
  • Manage a team of HR professionals to provide timely and accurate responses to employee inquiries.
  • Implement efficient and effective processes to streamline service delivery.
  • Utilize HR technology to enhance the PSC’s capabilities.
  • Measure and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve service quality.

Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Conduct a gap analysis for compliance in all states we plan to enter
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues.
  • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel to address complex compliance matters.
  • Stay current on evolving employment laws and industry best practices.

Special Project Support

  • Lead and manage special HR projects, such as mergers and acquisitions, organizational restructuring, and workforce planning.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize project needs.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
  • Oversee project execution and ensure timely delivery of results.
  • Evaluate project outcomes and identify lessons learned.
  • Facilitate the annual budgeting process for appropriate projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree (Master’s or MBA) preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and HR technology.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to drive change and innovation.
