You will work with the EMEA and GSBS people and leadership teams to understand and support the emerging needs of the business, and to support the effective establishment and growth of services in the region. This person will partner our senior business and People team leaders across Global Shared Services and EMEA to shape and deliver a People Plan in local countries, which blends the strategic plans from each of the functions and teams represented in the region.
You will work with site leaders to establish a common, inclusive culture and highly engaged teams, which brings people from different businesses/functions together as One Team. This role will enable the delivery of operational people policies, processes, and services in this country. You will be a member of the regional people leadership team, supporting shaping and delivery of projects that cut across specific EMEA markets.
Partnering and People Strategy Development
- Shape and manage delivery of the People Plan for your country, ensuring it directly supports the business strategies for the business areas represented.
- Make proactive and predictive use of people data, delivering insights that support decision making and targeting of issues.
Organisation Design and Change
- Lead change management projects across your country.
- Support M&A, organisation design and change activity from a People perspective for your country or where required as a member of a cross-organisation project team.
Talent, Culture & Engagement
- Support leaders to ensure matching of people’s capability to changing business requirements and conditions by developing and maintaining a workforce plan and making local resource projections.
- Support high potential talent with effective career coaching and development planning to ensure they meet their full potential not only within the function but across the group.
- Ensure group-wide inclusion and engagement initiatives and surveys are actioned. Drive action plans for building an inclusive, engaged culture.
- Support local Talent Acquisition strategies & delivery in partnership with the EMEA TA Team
Leadership and Coaching
- Operate confidently as a trusted advisor and sounding board for local managers; challenge and stretch them to achieve their maximum potential through a process of self-awareness and understanding.
- Coach and mentor local people resources, to support them in their activities and with their career aspirations.
HR operations
- Work with talent acquisition team & function business partners to attract and hire new talent, in line with workforce plans.
- Ensure smooth local running of global people processes including annual reward review, performance management etc.
- Work with local team to manage local payroll and HR administration as necessary
Experience & skills needed to be successful in this role:
- People/HR professional
- You have worked in a global People/HR Function
- Solid experience in influencing, coaching and consulting with senior leaders.
- Proven experience of managing international or complex, multi-stranded projects.
- Business fluent in the English language and Latvian
