The Senior Manager, Business Transformation & Shared Services, will lead and manage transformation projects with a focus on optimizing, and enhancing shared service functions. This role requires a deep understanding of the complexities of large organizations and proven experience in driving change within shared services environments, including but not limited to finance, HR, IT, and procurement functions.

Project Leadership in Shared Services Transformation:

• Lead large-scale transformation projects specifically focused on optimizing shared service functions, including Finance, HR, IT, Procurement, and Customer Service.
• Oversee the assessment and redesign of shared service structures, operating models, and governance frameworks to better align with client goals.
• Establish project scope, objectives, and KPIs, ensuring clear benchmarks and quality standards for client delivery.

Shared Services Strategy & Operating Model Design:

• Develop tailored shared services strategies for clients, including centralization, standardization, and process automation initiatives.
• Advise clients on the design and deployment of shared service operating models that balance efficiency with flexibility.
• Conduct feasibility analyses and build business cases for establishing or expanding shared services capabilities.

Process Optimization and Technology Enablement:

• Identify and implement strategies to streamline workflows, eliminate redundancies, and drive standardization across shared service functions.
• Lead process mapping, redesign workshops, and continuous improvement initiatives

Client Engagement & Advisory:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on transformation strategies, challenges, and opportunities. Generate simple yet visually appealing collateral necessary for key decision-making activities (e.g. strategy sessions, Board and Senior LT meetings).

Change Management and Stakeholder Engagement:

• Develop change management strategies and communication plans to ensure successful adoption of new shared service processes and technologies.
• Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to build consensus, manage expectations, and ensure alignment across the client’s organization.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Manage and mentor project teams, providing coaching and guidance to foster professional growth and knowledge sharing within the firm.
• Conduct training sessions on shared services best practices, encouraging the development of deep shared service expertise within the team.

Thought Leadership and Industry Insights:

• Stay current with industry trends, regulatory developments, and advancements in shared services technology and methodology.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in management consulting, with a focus on shared services transformation in large organizations.
• Proven track record of delivering high-impact transformation projects specifically related to shared service functions (Finance, HR, IT, Procurement).
• In-depth knowledge of shared services frameworks, operating models, organization design, and governance structures, including experience in centralization and standardization.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive change at senior levels.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including story boarding and developing clear and concise presentations.
• Expert in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
