As Assistant Director Of Finance, you will have a broad position with a lot of variety in the work. You will become the right hand of the Director Of Finance (DOF). When the DOF has appointments outside the door, you ensure that everything continues to run smoothly in the office.

• Assisting with ad-hoc projects at the request of the DOF and CFO;
• As a manager of the Accounts Payable team, you ensure that the administrations are processed efficiently;
• Taking care of payments for the 22 hotels in the Netherlands and the head office;
• Maintaining the internal administration of the Shared Service Center (head office);
• Independently preparing the monthly closing and associated reports;
• You support the monthly closing processes;
• You support the financial controllers & GL accountants with the administration of the hotels
• Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, timeliness and uniformity of financial, administrative and tax records;
• Active role in preparing financial reports and making supporting analyses;
• Contract management in the digital portal;
• Monitoring the retention period of the external archive;
• Check contracts and invoices regarding the vehicle fleet;
• Monitoring the budget of the WKR scheme;
• Makes a constructive contribution to the (further) development of financial administrative software systems;
• Makes proposals for optimising the administrative organisation and, in collaboration with the Audit & Reporting Manager, installs internal control measures for the hotels;
• In this role, you provide solicited and unsolicited advice based on your observations.

• You have 3+ years of experience in a similar role;
• You have HBO work and thinking level;
• You speak and write Dutch and English.
