We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Lead to drive innovation within our dynamic Digital Global Functions partnering with our Carrier Business Services (CBS) organization. This role is pivotal in leading the development and implementation of cutting-edge technologies and process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a passion for innovation, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives.
Innovation Leadership
- Spearhead the identification, evaluation, and implementation of innovative technologies and processes within CBS.
- Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging new ideas and approaches to improve business processes.
Technical Strategy and Roadmap
- Develop and maintain a technology innovation roadmap aligned with CBS strategic goals.
- Assess emerging technologies and their potential application to CBS functions such as Order to Cash (OTC), Source to Pay (S2P), Record to Report (RTR), Payroll, and Master Data Management (MDM).
Project Management
- Lead and manage innovation projects from concept to implementation, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with CBS teams, internal teams, and external vendor partners to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among different teams to drive project success.
Technology Implementation
- Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of new technology solutions.
- Ensure solutions meet business requirements, compliance standards, and best practices.
Process Improvement
- Analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Implement automation, AI, and other digital solutions to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
Stakeholder Management
- Engage with senior leadership and key stakeholders to gain support for innovation initiatives.
- Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.
As a minimum you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a technical leadership role, preferably within a shared services environment supporting functions like Finance
- Proven track record of driving technological innovations and managing complex projects.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, RPA, machine learning, and data analytics.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and other enterprise applications.
- Understanding of various processes such as Order to Cash (OTC), Source to Pay (S2P), Record to Report (RTR), Payroll, and Master Data Management (MDM).
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in a tech-savvy environment, with a focus on digital transformation and innovation.
