As the Senior Manager, Accounts Receivable, you’ll oversee the entire invoice-to-cash cycle, including credit policy, customer creditworthiness, invoicing, collections strategy, and key performance metrics. You’ll manage a team responsible for credit, billing, collections, and cash applications, ensuring smooth operations and driving improvements to meet company goals.
- Lead and manage credit, billing, collections, and cash application teams.
- Oversee the AR collections process, resolving customer inquiries, disputes, and payment delays.
- Champion process improvements to enhance billing efficiency, collections, and cash flow.
- Develop and implement effective invoice treatment strategies and coordinate district collection activities.
- Collaborate with internal divisions to address collection challenges and streamline processes.
- Monitor delinquent accounts, ensuring compliance with payment terms and minimizing risk.
- Prepare AR reserve analysis and provide month-end reporting on DSO, aged balances, and cash collections.
- Drive automation initiatives and process optimizations to reduce the cash collection cycle.
- Analyze customer accounts, resolve issues, and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
- 5–10 years of progressive experience in billing and collections, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
- Expertise in collections and credit practices, including familiarity with tools like Get Paid or Bill.com.
- Proficiency with NetSuite and PowerBI (preferred).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS and technical accounting concepts.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and lead process improvements.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
