My client is a global outsourcing service provider that simplifies and reduces operational complexity in work processes, supporting them in scaling their business. The team is looking to hire an Associate/Director to lead the Global Business Services desk.

• Serve as the primary contact point for clients, partnering with clients to understand their business requirements, tailoring an effective service solution to meet their needs in areas of accounting, tax, payroll etc.
• Lead a large team of up to 20 staffs, provide leadership and technical guidance across different functions
• Kept abreast of accounting changes, regulatory compliance adherence and resolve complex issues encountered by the team or between clients
• Promote cross collaboration between regional teams across APAC, EMEA, and US, sharing best practices and ensure seamless communication
• Implement controls and automate processes, evaluate effectiveness of actions and continuously refine processes
• Business partner with sales team on tenders for new clients, ensure service alignment and mitigate financial risk

• Degree in Accounting/ Finance, qualified CA/CPA/ACCA with at least 12 years of working experience
• Experience working in BPO set up, track record of liaising with international clients across diverse industries
• Commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills to build relationships with cross functional teams, new and existing clients
• Adopt a proactive approach to problem solving and process optimization
• Technical competency in areas of accounting, tax and payroll across different jurisdictions
