We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) to lead Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes across the development (equipment) and B2B wholesale (product) platforms. This role is responsible for aligning supply and demand and enabling new product introduction across development (equipment) and B2B wholesale (product) supply chains. The focus of this role is to drive service (on time performance), revenue, and profit across a multi brand portfolio. The ideal candidate will have experience in a multi-brand shared services environment, driving managing cross-functional collaboration, implementing planning processes, improving efficiencies, and leveraging data to enhance decision-making.
- Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP): Develop, lead, and optimize the S&OP process to ensure alignment between sales, operations, and financial goals. Facilitate regular S&OP meetings with senior leadership to review demand forecasts, supply plans, and performance metrics.
- Demand & Supply Alignment: Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to align demand forecasts with supply capabilities. Ensure that sales forecasts are accurately reflected in production, inventory, and distribution plans.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the key liaison between sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure consistent communication and alignment on business priorities, market trends, and demand planning.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data and analytics to create actionable insights for demand forecasting, supply chain optimization, and inventory management. Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reporting to monitor performance, forecast accuracy, and operational effectiveness.
- Capacity & Resource Planning: Ensure that operational capacities (manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics) are adequately planned to meet forecasted demand. Collaborate with operations teams to balance capacity constraints with customer demand and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Financial Integration: Work closely with the finance team to integrate financial planning with the IBP process, ensuring that sales, production, and supply plans are aligned with budget and financial goals.
- Scenario Planning & Risk Mitigation: Lead scenario planning to evaluate different market conditions, demand fluctuations, and supply chain risks. Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure business resilience in case of disruptions.
- Continuous Improvement: Conduct analysis of supply chain processes, including planning, sourcing, production, and delivery. Champion a culture of continuous improvement by refining IBP processes, enhancing cross-functional collaboration, and identifying opportunities to optimize supply and demand management across the business.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field; MBA or advanced certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCP) preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in integrated business planning, S&OP, demand planning, or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving alignment between sales, operations, and finance functions.
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, demand forecasting, capacity planning, and financial integration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive collaboration across diverse teams.
- Experience with NetSuite and BigCommerce or equivalent systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop contingency plans to address supply-demand imbalances.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
