Nebraska Methodist Health System is hiring a Director of Sales to oversee Shared Service Systems’ product sales to hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes. Drive market growth, manage external sales functions, and build partnerships with GPOs while promoting programs like the Physician Choice Buying Program.
- Supervise and evaluate a 10-member Sales Staff Team, optimizing territory design, growth targets, and professional development through training and meetings.
- Represent Shared Service Systems alongside the President/CEO at national and regional industry events, including Vizient, Premier, NDC, and HIDA.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with top 25+ customer decision-makers, including CFOs, CEOs, and Purchasing Directors.
- Collaborate with Sales Reps, Managers, and internal departments to ensure positive customer relations, manage pricing/distribution issues, and coordinate customer fundraisers.
- Lead marketing efforts with manufacturers and vendors, developing promotional materials, negotiating fees, and expanding the Physician Choice Buying Group across acute, LTC, and clinic markets.
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of direct sales experience in healthcare or a related field, with a proven record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- 3+ years as a sales manager or sales and marketing director, with experience leading client-focused, results-driven sales strategies.
- Valid and current driver’s license with proof of insurance required.
