We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Chief Executive Officer to oversee and manage the Zurich International Life Limited (ZILL) legal entity and lead the Shared Service Operations. This leadership role is accountable for directing the organisation in establishing long-range plans, strategy and policy to achieve profitability and growth. The role involves driving the business strategy, delivery against budgetary plans, and ensure adherence to compliance and regulations. The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for financial targets and operational delivery, with a strong emphasis on Finance, Regulatory, Compliance, Legal and Risk Management.

  • Develop and implement business strategies for ZILL and Shared Service Operations.
  • Provide leadership and general management for all operational activities.
  • Oversee branches in the Middle East, Hong Kong, and Argentina.
  • Set and achieve business targets for sustainable growth.
  • Manage country-wide operations and budgets.
  • Monitor business performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and company governance.
  • Oversee customer operations for efficiency and quality.
  • Develop and enforce compliance policies.
  • Maintain business policies and procedures.
  • Deliver a customer-centric approach to establish Zurich as the preferred insurer.
  • Set regional objectives and formulate policy frameworks.
  • Represent Zurich in the market, engaging with key customers, brokers, and regulators.
  • Promote Zurich Behaviours and support people development within the organisation.
  • Relevant professional qualifications and university-level education.
  • Extensive experience in the insurance industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance business models, concepts, and operations.
  • International experience and proficiency in working with remote teams.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and lead professional teams.
  • Strong understanding of insurance risks and related management techniques.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in strategic formulation and execution skills.
  • Exceptional presentation skills.
  • Strong influencing and conflict resolution skills.
