As the Director, Global HR Operations you are a working-leader who can blend the tactical day-to-day work with strategic thinking and planning to advance the effectiveness/efficiency of the human resources services offered to employees globally. Working alongside your counterpart, the Director of Global HR Technology, you operationalize the strategies coming from the COE. In this role, you are designing the workflows, documentation, controls, etc. that introduce a standardization of policies and procedures globally, leveraging our global HRIS system, ORACLE. Once designed, you work with the HR Business Partners in Asia, EMEA, North and South America, to communicate, train, and launch each initiative, then monitor key KPIs and performance metrics, to deliver the highest quality of services to your stakeholders.

Experience working in a Global Business Services (GBS), HR Shared Services (HRSS), or People Services delivery model where you have experience operationalizing strategy and overseeing ongoing operations with a keen eye for continuous improvement, effectiveness/efficiency, leveraging technology, and compliance.

  • Lead a global team of HR Operations team members, with strong front-line execution, strategic alignment, and culture alignment.
  • Partner with executive leadership and global HR leadership to refine and execute HR Operations strategy and vision.
  • Partner globally across business groups and regions to build cross cultural relationships with key stakeholders at all levels within the business.
  • With lean like efficiency, drive continuous improvement in core HR processes and tools and standardization of processes with SOPs while leveraging technology.
  • Lead and guide the Global HR Operations team while providing development and through leadership while ensuring accountability for implemented KPIs.
  • Ensure HR Operations projects and initiatives are in alignment with the Annual Operating Plan budgeting.
  • Drive workforce planning, headcount management, and retention strategies.
  • Provide consultation on employee engagement and program impact measurement.
  • Collaborate with HR COEs including Total Rewards, Technology, Talent Development & Management, and others for process improvement opportunities.
  • Provide project leadership in implementing new processes and workflows across all HR systems and HR operations. Including requirements gathering, researching and resolving problems, participating in testing activities, and recommending and delivering solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements and drive a positive employee experience.
  • Act as a change management champion for systems and processes, facilitating and communicating HR process and policy and policy updates and changes.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities, using technology to streamline and standardize processes and policies while improving efficiencies.
  • Actively stay up to date on laws that impact HR services.
  • Design user friendly processes, guidelines, and documentation.
  • Manage multiple initiatives at once including project tasks, budget, and timeline.
  • Flexible and comfortable to roll-up your sleeves, accustomed to being hands-on.
  • Travel may be required as needed including regional and international travel.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, Human Resources or related field.
  • 10+ years of escalating HR leadership experience, preferably on a global scale.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to drive change, continuous improvement, and culture.
  • Team building skills as well as the ability to build relationships and trust.
  • Experience leading or contributing to organizational realignments, workforce planning, small to medium scale reorganizations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel. Working knowledge of Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with extreme professionalism and discretion.
  • Experience with ORACLE and ADP a plus.
